About
Jonathan Nash Glynn was born in 1951 in Newark, New Jersey. As a student in the early 1970s, he studied ceramics, sculpture, and painting, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University and a Master of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Academy of Art.
In a career spanning nearly five decades, he has exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the Detroit Institute of Arts; and the State University of New York Museum on Long Island, New York.
Additionally, his work has featured at numerous private galleries across the United States.
Although figurative art defines much of his career, Glynn has in recent years been moving inexorably toward abstraction.
